Behavioral scientist turned dating coach Logan Ury is an internationally recognized expert on modern love. She is the author of the new book, How to Not Die Alone. As the Director of Relationship Science at the dating app Hinge, Logan leads a research team dedicated to helping people find love. After studying psychology at Harvard (’10), she ran Google’s behavioral science team—the Irrational Lab. She was a 2018 TED Resident and is a featured speaker at SXSW 2021. Her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, TIME. The Washington Post, GQ, Glamour, Vice, and on HBO and the BBC. Logan lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Scott. Rachel Greenwald


Rachel Greenwald, a leading communications expert, author, and coach, will lead us in a dynamic virtual workshop on enhancing communication in the Zoom era. Currently an Executive Fellow at HBS, Rachel made her mark as one of the most successful matchmakers in the United States. She uses tactics honed in the “love business” to help business leaders improve their professional relationships and impact in the workplace. Rachel was featured recently in an HBS “Sky Deck” podcast episode.

Rachel is a New York Times bestselling author who has been featured widely in the media as a relationship expert by The Today Show, CNN, The New York Times, Fortune Magazine, NPR, and hundreds more. She is also a lecturer and coach for business leaders and executive teams on topics ranging from deepening connections for virtual teams, elevating first impressions and listening skills, and many other EQ skills. She has worked with organizations including Google, The Estee Lauder Company, Y-Combinator, Wolters Kluwer, Morgan Stanley, YPO groups, Stanford University, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs Network. Rachel’s relationship books, published by Random House, have been translated into 18 languages worldwide, and have been optioned by Paramount Studios for a Hollywood film. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Wellesley College (1986), an M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education (1987), and an MBA from Harvard Business School (1993).

Shannon Lundgren has been involved with HBSANC club leadership for many years, and is currently a club board member. Shannon is passionate about connecting our club members, and also is the leader of our Club singles series. Shannon is a senior executive and founder of Shannon's Circle matchmaking and date coaching for highly educated singles.
