About DigitalONE Network
DigitalONE Network is a startup media company created to provide a safe, engaging community for Tweens up to age 14 that stimulates their creativity. You've visited movie theatres, perhaps have watched American Idol, and have heard of social networks. Imagine the convergence of all these platforms into one environment where Tweens can meet to create and experience their own shows.
Jon has personally viewed this concept in DigitalONE's office in nearby Northlake. The live shows are delivered in movie theatres and project a movie screen like you've never seen before. (It would be great to see this in place for viewing adult content, too.) Perhaps one day in the future you will be able to say, "I remember first seeing this at an HBSCC breakfast in summer 2010." This concept could launch an entirely new revenue stream for theatre owners.
DigitalOne network is the brainchild of CEO and founder Gavin Blunt. He has had an interesting career, including providing financial services with firms like CSFB and Kidder Peabody. Earlier, he was a succesful concert promoter in the Denver area (you may have heard of the Red Rocks concert arena). He has spent two years putting the components--management, content, website and distribution--in place and getting this venture market ready.
