About Jill Eicher
Jill Eicher is a Managing Director of Adaptive Alpha, a Chicago based research and development firm focused on helping businesses manage risk opportunistically to increase profitability. Her domain expertise in credit, market, and operational risk is coupled with deep knowledge of treasury operations, complex investment strategies, trading and execution. She holds one issued patent and developed the intellectual property that serves as the foundation of the company’s R&D platform. Eicher has published several articles on risk in the global financial markets and was invited to speak to the Risk Management Association, the International Association of Financial Engineers and the White House Fellows.
Previously, she was a Managing Director and the COO of Lincoln Capital Management, a $70B asset management firm, where she oversaw $100 million in revenues, a $20M operating budget, a team of 60 and served on the Management, Partnership and Compliance committees. Prior to Lincoln Capital, Eicher developed the Securities Research Practice for The Tower Group after having run an investment consultancy for ten years. She began her career at Hellman, Jordan Management, a Boston-based asset manager.
Ms. Eicher received a BA from Wellesley College and a DES from the Université de Strasbourg. She is on the board of the Institute for Truth in Accounting and is a founding member of 100 Women in Hedge Funds, the Business Leadership Council of Wellesley College and 85 Broads.
