North Shore Interest Group Breakfast -- Thursday, March 11, 7:30 a.m.
Details of the Presentation and Dialog Session
In the burgeoning world of social networks, the universal
measurement of the strength of a network is viewed as the quantity of
relationships. Social networks view relationships as an asset. Yet, not all
relationships contribute equally to the network. A standardized measurement of
the quality of a relationship and, thus, its value to the network, needs to
developed.
Over the past three years, Rob Peters has been a leading
proponent of Relationship Capital as a means of measuring and supporting the
highest quality of relationships. To turn his vision into reality, he helped
shape RNIA (Relationship Networking Industry Association) as a vehicle for
enabling RC. RNIA (www.RNIA.org) is
the standards body that facilitates quality relationships and uses RC to
measure and improve them. The
organization also certifies people who demonstrate mastery of aspects of the
standard. Rob facilitates client
adoption of RC and is considered the “Chief Evangelizer” of RC as the currency
of the Relationship Economy. He can be reached at RNIA, where he also serves as
facilitator, mentoring people who want to learn how RC can help them build
quality relationships.
